Writing Contest: “Live to the Truth” in verse or prose

Our founding motto at Framingham State University is “live to the truth,” and that sentiment feels especially urgent today. What does “live to the truth” mean to you? What does it look like at FSU? In our communities? Our country?

Using the phrase “live to the truth” at least once, please submit a poem (max. 20 lines), or work of short prose (fiction or nonfiction; max 750 words). Be creative, but most importantly HAVE FUN!

Winners receive cool prizes from the FSU Bookstore and big-time bragging rights!

Submit your entry with your name and FSU email address as a Word Doc to FSURamsWrite@gmail.com

Entries will be posted on the FSU Rams Write WordPress site as they come in and will be judged shortly after the event closes at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 20, 2020, and winners will be notified by email.

Only current Framingham State students can win a prize, but anyone can read and comment on entries, which are linked below:

Good luck, and write on!
